SHRIMP BAIT CURE RECIPE
Shrimp Bait Cure
Shrimp is one of the best baits for fishing for steelhead, salmon, rock cod,
and more. The problem with shrimp is that it breaks off the hook easy.
There are a few options to make your shrimp or prawns more tough and
durable so that they last longer, stay on your hook longer, and stay fresh
and ready for use. You can also use dye to dye your shrimp many different
bright colors to your go to color for fishing. There are also some shrimp cures that you can buy and
easily mix for an alternative. Shrimp and Prawns that have been cured work great for bait to fish for
rockcod, rockfish, lingcod, cabezon, surf perch, halibut, greenling, striped bass, crab, or other game fish
along the coast.
